Sunset to the Pacific

So after our lay over in Cincinnati we boarded our plane to the Pacific coast. I thought this was going to be a short flight....2-3 hours. So when Cory asked me if I wanted to upgrade to 1st class I said that it just wasn't worth it. Well my pleasing husband asked the stewardess what the flight looked like and just exactly what the upgrade cost. Praise the Lord he did too! Our flight to Seattle was going to be over 5 hours long....OMG!!!!
So because my husband is so FANTASTIC we got 1st class seats on our flight! Neither of us had ever flown 1st class and really didn't know what to expect or what was expected of us! IT WAS WONDERFUL and when my husband so sweetly asked the attendant what the proper "flight etiquette" was...tip or no tip?.......she thought he was the sweetest thing ever and was even more attentive to our "first 1st class experience." Haha!
These pictures are of the longest sunset we have ever seen! It was absolutely breathtaking! The way the colors hit the different horizons was amazing. God continues to amaze me with His beautiful creations.

This flight was the most beautiful one I have ever experienced. I will never forget the seats nor the views on our "first 1st class experience."

Little Boss-Man

During the day, Whitman and I sometimes venture to the warehouse to see what Daddy is up too. Whitman loves his Momma but loves to go with his Daddy and "work".
Behind the desks there is a shelf that holds some kind of gadget. This "gadget" is Whitman's work. It never fails! He goes and gets this thing out, along with the bolts, and works away trying to fix it. He is absolutely PRECIOUS! This picture cracks me up...its like he's saying, "Momma, don't bother me while I'm workin'."

Whitman LOVES to work with his Daddy and the other guys at the shop. They make him feel so special and important...he eats it up! Whit is known as the "little boss-man" and I only pray that he has the same work ethic as his Daddy, the "boss man".
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.....

Please Pray

My mother in law's good friend, Gail Taylor's, daughter Amy Taylor Williams is fixing to have her first child. This past week they found out that her baby boy, Taylor Beckham Williams, has HLHS (hypoplastic left heart syndrome).

For those of you who don't know, this is the same heart defect my Lila Rae had. Unfortunately, I know all too well what this family is going through and what the road ahead looks like. I only pray that baby Taylor's surgeries and outcome is better than my Lila Rae's.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PRAY for this family. PRAY for the surgeons and other doctors to care for Taylor to the best of their ability. PRAY for Taylor's recovery to be smooth and flawless...free from infections. PRAY for the family's patience, faith, and love. PRAY that this storm will pass from them without any destruction.

Thank you to all my friends and family for ALL that you did through our Lila Rae's procedures. I am asking you now to pray for this family and that God will see them through as only He can.

A Little More Christmas

Well today its back to the grind of things. My girls went back to school and its housework and cooking for me and my little man. We had a fantastic New Year. I pray you did too! My parents came up and we had our Christmas time with them. It was so nice to have some quality time with them. Most of the time we're running somewhere doing something when we get together but not this time. My Mom has been sick so we took it real easy and slow..it was really nice.

The kids have played and played and played with all their toys. We are so blessed and so spoiled! God is so good ALL the time! They especially LOVE their new Buggy! Yes, their Daddy and I got them a little buggy for Christmas. I like to say that their Daddy got them the buggy and I got them the helmets! Haha! I have to give Cory credit, though, this was ALL his idea. He did a great job! This thing has been so much fun and I haven't laughed this hard in soooo long! They are too much fun!

So here is a little more Christmas from our house to yours!

Christmas Morning 2009

Christmas morning at our house was the BEST! The kids got everything they wanted and more! Santa Claus did very good this year! Santa brings the kids three things each. We started this a couple of years ago and it just makes so much sense. Baby Jesus got three gifts....you get three gifts! My kids are so blessed to get really whatever they want or need throughout the year. I know that what they ask for from Santa they REALLY want....so we're not getting any junk!

Sissy reading her new book..too cute

Vbug taking the WhitMAN for a ride on his new ride

Daddy and his gals

The girls taking the tractor for a spin

Sissy got her new DS game

ZUZU pets...YAY!

And he is ready to go to work!

This was our first Christmas morning without my Momma and Daddy so it was a different feeling. I really missed not having my family with us but due to sickness it just wasn't possible. I am very blessed that they came on New Year's to have our Christmas together.
This Christmas was filled with an ABUNDANT amount of blessings and I am so thankful for ALL of our gifts. I will never forget this Christmas and the fun memories we made! Hope you enjoy!
I love the kids first expressions when they see what Santa left them. It cracks me up that the girls first reaction was Whitman's tractor...but then again how could you not comment on that big thing! LOL!
