Life

Well I know that I haven't been posting as regularly as I once was and I apologize for that. Life around the Tyre house as been extremely busy. This time of year usually is busy but even more so this year. So please bear with me as I try to post and share what God is doing in mine and my family's life.
Here lately I have been so happy to find out how many of you check this blog out! Thank you for sharing your opinions...it really does keep me going!
Cory and I have tried to be so faithful to the Lord and seeking His divine plan in ALL that we do. Even this blog. HE has truly honored me with your sweet and heartwarming comments. So thank you for sharing!
As for our little clan, we have been full speed ahead! One big milestone has been that I have officially weaned Whit. He is 16 months now and well it was just time. He seems to be adjusting very well...which makes it very well for me! The hardest thing is adjusting our sleeping routine. That's really the only time I was nursing him-to go to sleep. I usually try and wean when there is nothing else going on but that didn't happen this time. I just stopped nursing and then we had opening day of hunting season and homecoming at church (that I serve on the committee for)...so we were really busy to add this to the fire! But God has had His hand in it and its worked our GREAT! Ok, so I'm going to do better at posting...I promise!!
By the way, I added some new songs to my playlist! Check them out-they are awesome!
Have a great Tuesday!

My First Buck

I haven't had a chance to do very much hunting over the past six years just because I needed to be at the house with my babies. This year, though, I NEEDED to be in a secluded place...just me and good 'ol nature! Mommas do you know where I'm comin' from? Or everyone for that matter! We all just need some ALONE time every now and then!
Well by the GRACE of God I was able to have some of that alone time this past weekend.
Cory and I got up and went huntin' Saturday morning and well I got my FIRST BUCK!!! I have killed a doe before but never a buck!
It is the craziest story ever.
Cory was coming to my stand to come and get me and go home. So I started gettin' all my gear ready. As I am coming down the ladder Cory starts hollering (in a whisper), "shoot that buck, shoot that buck". Well I had NO idea what he was talking about...in fact I thought he was playing a mean joke! I turned around to see this HUGE buck standing there looking at us. So after much fussing between Cory and I, I climbed back up the stand to get my gun and shot the BIG 'Ol thing!!! It is all quite hilarious how it worked out but WHO cares...I got my FIRST BUCK!
He is an 8 pt. and no I didn't get him scored yet but he is at the taxidermist getting mounted.
For those of you who know me well, I live in a little house (@900 sq. ft.). So one of the first things I told Cory was that we needed a bigger house were I can hang my trophy...haha!!!
I am super duper excited and feel so blessed to have a hubby who puts so much into taking me hunting and also to have a mother-n-law who will come over so early, on her day off, to sit with the youngin's.
Hope you enjoy the pics...I will put some more of the buck when he is mounted!

All the youngin's were super excited!

Here he is!

I was so excited!

My hubby and my buck...I wouldn't have been there without Cory!

I'm Just Human

I get so upset when I act human! I know what is right and wrong and what I should and shouldn't do, but something always gets in the way....ME!
"O my soul, why be so gloomy and discouraged? Trust in God!"
Psalm 43:5
When my spirit gets down I must continually trust in God.
I am going to memorize this verse and everytime I start to get afraid or too human, I will hear God's words in my heart and mind!
Over and over God has given me the confidence that I can believe in Him for the future. I am only human and I will make mistakes, but He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust. He shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. Psalm 91:2-3
Dear Lord,
You are my source of strength. Sometimes I am so discouraged by my behavior or failings. I give them over to You. Make them into things of beauty. Things that serve You.
Amen.

Us at Silver Springs

This past week the kids and I had a chance to go visit my family for a few days! What a great time we ALL had!
This was just one of the many little trips we took during our stay.
Growing up around Ocala and I still had never been to Silver Springs to visit. Uncle Bubba surprised us all with tickets...bless his heart, he was in the peanut field while we enjoyed the park!
Thanks Uncle Bubba!!
We got to see all kinds of animals. I got to touch a giraffe...I was so excited! We went on a safari, rode the glass-bottom boat, saw the albino alligators, rode the carousel, and saw lots of animals.
It was also the springs' fall festival so we got to partake in the fall festivities and their pirate scavenger hunt!
The kids, Granny, and I all had a great time and were COMPLETELY eXhAUsTeD at the end of the day!
The kids behaved WONDERFULLY and I am so blessed for that and also to have a loving, generous family who ADORE my kids!
Thanks again...We had a great time!

Car Wash

Friday was a fun day spent outside with the kids! I had gotten my car washed before coming home and well the girls decided Whit's car needed a wash too!
I don't know who had more fun...the girls or Whit! The girls were so great about letting him
get into the water and well make a HUGE mess! I just knew they would get frustrated but they were great BIG sisters!
I had a fantastic time taking pics and enjoying my beautiful children and the beautiful day that God had so graciously given me! I use to get all up-tight about getting so messy...I guess God has taught me a few things over the years....thank YOU!!!

Only take heed to yourself, and diligently keep yourself, lest you forget the things your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life. And teach them to your children and your grandchildren.
